Vince Vaughn gets married
He famously played a Wedding Crasher, but this time around Vince Vaughn was the star of the show.
The 39-year-old actor married girlfriend of two years Kyla Weber, a 31-year-old Canadian real estate agent , in a secret ceremony on Saturday, his spokesperson has confirmed.
Vaughn, who previously enjoyed a high-profile relationship with actress Jennifer Aniston, 40, tied the knot in Lake Forest, Illinois, where he grew up, in front of around 60 friends and family members. A source said the couple, who got engaged on Valentines Day last year ‘could not be happier.’
According to US reports, Vaughn’s wedding celebrations began on New Year’s Eve, with a party in his penthouse apartment in Chicago.
Guests stayed at the neighboring Knickerbocker Hotel and on Saturday took buses to the wedding venue, the Great Hall of Arnour House at Lake Forest Academy.
Vaughn, spoke about his engagement to Miss Weber when he appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ chat show last year.
‘I figured this is not a ship to be missed because I will not forget this date. So Valentines Day was the day that I asked her,’ he said.
‘She makes me laugh. She is wonderful. I’m just thrilled,’ he added.
And in September Vaughn also revealed he was ready to become a father.
‘It’s the first time that I really want to have kids,’ he told People magazine.
